Hi,
I am trying to set up a list of records with approximately 40-50 fields as required by my client. I started with a Straight Table however, without expressions I was unable to have the horizontal scroll bar. After reading other discussions, it looked like QlikView would only allow the horizontal scroll if the dimensions were converted to expressions. That is so frustrating as now my QlikView document takes longer to load because all fields are expressions.
Then, I was told to use a Table Box. Well, that had it's limitations also. I am now unable to filter the data unless it is selected from a list box. Our document has the Financial Year as a variable due to other restrictions so I can't have this as a list box.
My question is - what is the work around this limitation? Ideally, I don't want to slow the system so I prefer to use a Table Box. I've tried using the Condition Calculation but it doesn't work.
Thanks.
Hi
" Then, I was told to use a Table Box. Well, that had it's limitations also. I am now unable to filter the data unless it is selected from a list box. " <- Is it true?
Its possible to select the data in table box itself, only limitation is we can't able to add expression in table box. like Sum(Sales) or can't able to add calculated dimension also.
