Line Chart issues Q9 SR6

Hi Expert,

I have a Line graph chart with positive and negative values.There is a problem in line chart the negative values are ovelapping with the positive values. So very difficult to find what are the values are belongs to positive and what are the values are belongs to negative.

I heard its a kind of bug in Q9 SR6, could you pls confirm on the same.

No idea what you're saying. I don't remember seeing anything like this. A quick line chart that I threw together with negative values displays just like I would expect. Perhaps you could post an example of the problem you're seeing?

I hope attached example will have more clear what I am facing the issues in Line chart.

Pls have a look attached screenshot taken from both the versions and had mention my problem in the screenshot itself.

See this point, what what would you expect to display if "Open" would have the value +1 or +2 for 200903?

Usually I do not display figures within a graph, but allow to toggle from line-graph to straight-table.

Peter, its our requirement to display the figures in the charts.

You may display the values above the axis, an idea you may find in the attachment. This might further be pimped with a legend etc, but just to get the idea.

Ah, so your issue is that QlikView puts numbers on top of each other in the chart, making them very hard to read? Yeah, I've seen that before, it's annoying, and I don't know of a workaround. It doesn't really have anything to do with positive vs. negative numbers since you can get the same problem with any lines that are close to each other.
