Line graph with conditions in expression

Hi ,

I have qlik desktop and I am working on a dashboard and my requirement is to show a variable has two option  only.

say I am looking for a median time in doing a query_by_students divided in two groups

student with age 6-10 are 'Non-Major' students and 10-14 are 'Major' students

Right now my query goes like

median({<query_by_students ={'Major'}>}mins_in_solving*1440)

but I want to make a line graph with two colored lines and I want to write in one expression, maybe if we can edit the expression I used above .

first line should show the color of time taken by major students and second line should come show the color of time taken by non-major students.

Can  you please help me out!

Regards

Have a look at the following Design Blog post:

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Design-Blog/Using-IntervalMatch/ba-p/1475510

Here is the link to the base page where you can search yourself in case the above is not workable:

I believe you should be able to find multiple ways to potentially go at this one, set analysis might be the other avenue and there are a number of posts on that too.

Brett
