Line not appears at proper position in combo chart

Hi community,

I got a combo chart and there are altogether 2 dimensions and 9 expressions (8 bars & 1 line). The graph works fine when I viewed it with Qlikview client 11 SR5. After I upgraded the client to SR13, the line was not posited to a proper place as you can see from the pictures, but the values shown on the data points are correct. Is it the limitation of qlikview or the problem caused by improper expressions?

Hi, mavericklty.

I have a combo chart, I opened in versions 11 SR3 and 11 SR13, and not there are problem.

Perhaps, set the axes will help. Example: All the graphs bar in Left (Bottom) Position and Line Right (Top).

Access the properties combo chart, choice tab Axes, area Position.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Jonas and Andrew. I have promoted the expression of line in front of the bar expressions and the line appears in the proper position again. But I still got a question, I have read some posts in the community stated that the limitation of combo chart is only 1 dimensions and 15 expressions can be inputted in a combo chart. Is this statement valid?

Hi,

Try like this for the percentage expressions

Properties -> Axes -> Select Percentage Expression -> Position -> Select Right(Top)

Hope this helps you.

Regards,

jagan.

Hi, mavericklty.

In QlikView Reference Manual Version11.20SR3, the only information contained on limit for dimension as below.

"A chart can display one or more dimensions. The upper limit depends on the actual chart type, the complexity of the data and the available memory. Pie, line and scatter charts can display a maximum of two dimensions, bar, block and grid charts three. Radar charts can only display a single dimension, and gauge charts use no dimensions at all. A funnel chart typically has one to three dimensions. Further dimensions are ignored. "

For the expression not found.

Note: search the documentation according to your version.
