I saw this post yesterday and asked the following question in that thread but no one saw it...
Can anyone tell me where I might find more of these expression values? For instance;
'<S1>' = Solid Line
'<S2>' = Dashed Line
'<S3>' = Etc....
What about line widths..? '<W1>' ? What other options are there? '<R1>'? '<T5>'? '<D3>'? '<K2>'? Anything else....? A comprehensive list would be great!
Thank you.
Hello Rob,
Those I know are in page 965 of the PDF document:
S1 Solid, S2 Dashed, S3 Dot S4 Dash/Dot
Wx where x is a value from 0,5 to 8 to set the width of the line.
Regards.
Page 965 of the Qlikview Reference Manual.pdf? I don't see it...
Maybe I am looking in the wrong pdf....? Do you have a link to where I should get/see the right one...?
Hi Rob,
It's in your Program Files\QlikView\Documentation directory. Page is absolute, not relative (as the PDF consists in three books).
Regards.
This is what it sais on page 910:
Line Style
Only applicable on line, combo and radar charts. Click on
Line Style in order to enter an attribute expression for calculating
the line style for the line or line segment associated
with the data point.
The relative width of the line can be controlled by including
a tag <Wn> where n is a multiplying factor to be applied
on the default line width of the chart. The number n must be
a real number between 0.5 and 8. Example: <W2.5>.
The style of the line can be controlled by including a tag
<Sn> where n is an integer between 1 and 4 indicating the
style to be used (1=continous, 2= dashed, 3=dotted,
4=dashed/dotted). Example: <S3>.
The <Wn> and <Sn> tags can be freely combined, but only
the first occurrence of each counts. The tags must be
enclosed by single quotations.
Hello Dennis,
That's the text. It's page 965 in my manual. Will check again.
Hi,
have a look at the following article I just wrote:
