I'm trying to create a linear gauge in a straight table where the segment definitions are specfiic to each row/dimension in the table. But when I put in the expression, it seems to set the segment to be the same on each row.
Is there a way e.g. using Set Analysis to do this?
So far as I know, there is no way to have different segment definitions for each row. If someone knows of a way to do it, I'd be thrilled.
Sounsd like an enhancement request. What I really want to do is to get a Stephen Few style bullet chart in Qlikview.
For some reason, I thought that Bullet Charts had been added in 9.0, but I don't see any evidence of that. I don't really care for them personally, so I hadn't looked.
There's a demo somewhere that shows how to make "fake" bullet charts with QlikView. I suspect it's being done by overlaying a couple of different charts. Ah, here it is. Look on the "Dashboard" tab:

It might be easier in version 9, which allows for several different kinds of charts in a straight table, not just a gauge. I haven't fiddled with it though.
