I am using the Google Heat Map extension.
I have 2 maps side by side showing different info based on the selection.
Is it possible to link the 2 maps, so that if I zoom in or out on one, the other zooms to the same level of detail ?
Thanks
Hi Richard,
How do you calculate zoom? With a variable? You can use the same Variable, but note that the zoom variable on Google Maps are calculated instead the values you are showing on the graph.
Regards!
Hi Manuel
I am not aware you can set the zoom level of the Google heat map in the extension ? Although there is a zoom level for the data points.
Google seems to work out the size of map to display based on the data it is given. I then use the +/- on the map to zoom in or out.
If there is a variable, this would be helpful
Could you attach one example pls?
Thanks
This is how my map appears by default. I have highlighted the Google zoom buttons, which allow me to move in and out.
Below it is the extension properties window showing what parameters can be adjusted.
Hi Richard,
Have you tried yo change zoom level with a variable?
Regards!
As you see in my example, there is no parameter in the extension properties where I can used a variable
Change show point on zoom level as a variable.
Which options do you have on Presentation tab? An on Option tab?
Regards!
Manuel
The show points zoom level doesn't control the zoom level of the map - it just defines at what zoom level data points are shown instead of heat areas.
