Hi all,
I've only been working with QlikView for less than a week so far, but I'm impressed by the power it offers. One thing I can't find anywhere: is it possible to create a list view, as you would have in a standard web application?
For example, if you had columns A, B and C, you'd typically have the table:
A | B | C |
---|---|---|
Mark | 1 | Fish |
Paul | 4 | Beef |
Peter | 3 | Chicken |
etc | etc | etc |
But what if you wanted the layout to be more fluid? e.g.
A: Mark
1 Fish
------------------
A: Paul
4 Beef
-----------------
A: Peter
3 Chicken
----------------
etc
Is this at all possible in QlikView?
If I understood your question correctly, I think it comes close to what we discussed here:

Similar to that problem, yes. I don't think there's a way to do it from what I've read in the documentation, I essentially just want complete control over the style of the table; something I don't think QlikView allows you to do.
I probably missed one feature in my linked post:
You can get full control of the way data is presented by creating an extension object. But this will require some coding.
