List all objects and expressions from document

Hi Everyone,

I am putting together a manual for our QV application and would like to list all the tab names, the tables and charts within along with the dimension and expressions used within them. Plus if possible the attributes, such as if they are hidden or have actions etc.

Is it possible to list any of this automatically? I can see the details within the Settings menu but would like to be able to export them all into a documentto make sure I have spelling and such correct throughout.

Hi, Phil.

There are some exports that you can use. I'm afraid they will not cover all the data that your want.

- Go to settings -> Expression overview -> There you can use the 'export... ' button

- Go to settings -> Document properties -> Tables -> Export Structure

- Go to settings -> Document properties -> Sheets-> Export Structure

I don't think it is possible to list all the actions / triggers...

There is requirement to show sheet caption in another QVW dashboard.

The question is

Can we do below activity automatically

Go to settings -> Document properties -> Sheets-> Export Structure

Now we are doing this activity manually and then use it in usage dashboard.

Please help
