Hi,

is that ure data in different field?

you can use drilldown group.

user wants to see all parent level at the same time child level in the list box and when parent value is selected all child values should get selected.

i tried with reflective transitive closure approach. but is there any simpler way to do that.

can you change you're data?

example :

Parent, Child

A,1

A,2

B,3

B,4

with that data, you can do parent and child easily by associative qlikview.

@ all - thanks for input, but the reflecsive transitive closure approach works well in selecting the data when A selected all child (b and c ) related values are filtered properly but within the listbox, it only hightlights A , both b and c are not getting highlighted as if those are not selected.

requirement: when parent A is selected both childs b and c should get highlighted in list box and also all realted data should get filtered in the report.
