Hi folks, I've tried toggling the Document Properties Size to Data option off / on but am still experiencing an annoyance in that listbox fields (with expressions) are randomly auto-resizing themselves to be tiny width so that the number is not visible at all. I have to manually re-size them. Saving the entire document doesn't keep the size as it is seen. Any ideas how this can be addressed so that the listbox width (single-row) remains static?
It seems this issue is Theme related. I've now applied a default theme to listbox creation and the problem has gone away.
Can you post which version of QlikView you are using and the build number?
This may help identify if this is a new issue or a known issue.
Hi Colin, we're on Version 11.20.12354.0 SR6 64-bit Edition, many thanks, Alex
Hi Alex,
The current release is 11.2 SR12 build 12904. Have you tested the issue to see if it occurs in the current version?
That's the only release available to me at the current time. I've enquired as to whether we're moving forward or not, although I suspect an update won't materialise in the v.near future. Any ideas as to how I can force the listbox to do what I want in this respect?
have you tried "Presentation > Suppress Horizontal Scroll bar"
I've also just noticed the same issue when copying & pasting (CTRL-Insert/SHIFT-Insert) a listbox. Most of the time it duplicates and overlays the object on top of the one that was copied. Sometimes however, it just auto-resizes as per my post above.
Will give it a go.
I am not aware of such an issue in earlier releases, so it may be some peculiarity of he qvw file causing the issue. Can you upload the problem file? If security is a concern, you could scramble the sensitive fields, or upload a sample, as long as that still has the problem.

Thanks Sudeep, but that doesn't have any impact.
