Loading XL tables with two-line headers

Hi,

a very trivial question - and one which I do have a solution to, I just wonder if there is a more elegant way to do this:

- In many Excel tables that I have to load into one of my QlikView apps, there are headings written across two lines.

=> Is there a "native" way that I can tell QlikView to merge these two lines into one?

<=> Otherwise, I'd just have to remove the first and rewrite the headers.

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

DataNibbler

Hi,

I think this is solved: I tried and removed the 2nd line in the LOAD_wizard and QlikView automatically generated some alias field_names with the complete heading

First we can load the headers and then rename the fields names using map tables.
