Loading data from excel: amazing difference in speed
I am loaading data from an Excel file which is going terribly slow. A week ago, I was loading data from another excel file and the speed was much faster (despite the amount of data being higher). The only difference that I can discover is that the file forwhcih loading is slow is in Excel 201 and the file for whcih loading was fast is in an older version. Anybody have a similar experience? Is there anything I can do to speed up loading form the "slow"file?
