Loading part of a field

Dear specialists,

Easy one for you (I think)
I want to get the username form an E-mailadres. And the username is in this case alwasy the name infront of the @
For example from "Myname@mail.com" I just need "Myname"

There must be 2 was to this I think
1. Load everything up to the @
2. Drop the "@mail.com" part (this is possible because the domain is the same for all data)

Can somebody help me with the right load script for one (or both 🙂 )

I am pretty sure I saw this on the forum somewhere but I can not find it anymore.

Hi Dennis,

here are a short example how it works:

New:
LOAD * INLINE [
eMail
rfa@west
xyz@Ost
];

Load
subfield(eMail,'@', 1) as NameNew
Resident New;
