Locked "Loading Content" using Chrome

When I try to log-in through Chrome I get stuck on the screen loading content before I add my username and password..

So we clear cookies and go back in and it works.

Then no matter what we try we can't reproduce the issue until it happens again some time later.

Does anyone have any idea what causes this problem?
