Logarithmic scale in the Gauge chart does not work

I am trying out the QlikView Personal Edition (v 9.00.7502.8.SR). Recently I have ran into a problem with Gauge charts. It seems that the logarithmic scale option has no effect and regardless of its status the scale is always linear. Could someone write me please whether it is a bug in the QlikView or a feature in the Personal edition?
