Losing Format in List Box

When I copy a list box object to the clipboard and paste it on a new sheet everything is fine. However if I then change the field that the list box uses, I lose all formatting and layout. The two fields are both dates and the data are formatted identically.

Any thoughts on how to lock in all the List Box properties?

I think that´s the way qlikview works. It's the same behavior when you change dimensions on charts.
