*** Macros delete cache: Is it true? ***

Dear All,

I have read few blog posts and QlikView documentation, which says that using macros would delete cache. And this was specific to version 8.5 and I'm not sure if this applicable to Version 11?

If this is true, please explain the reason why & how would macros delete cache?
