Are little pieces of code (VB like) used as function called in objects.

Next QV release will not support anymore macros so I suggest not to use.

Also macros aren't supported in Webview at the moment.

Macros are very important feature of QlikView. Here is a collection of useful functions.

I would disagree that macros are important. They should be considered a last resort.

Most macro functions are replicated in Actions and other options.

Also macros can degrade performance and many macro functions are not supported when running applications from QlikView server.
