Makedate function returning strange dates...

Hello

I am working on an excel sheet with different columns for a date , ie Year, month, day.

LOAD Year,
Month,
Day,
Hour,
Celsius,
Rain_mm,
Sun_Minutes,
MakeDate (Day&Month&Year) as Date

i have been trying using MAKEDATE to generate the date but in returns...i have this...01.01.112012, 01.01.122012, etc...

what i have done wrong ?

Hi Jean,

try like this:

Date(MakeDate(Year, Month,Day),' Date Fromt which is ur req')  AS Date.

Hello i have 29938 lines of datas as stated above stored in an excel sheet

LOAD Year,
Month,
Day,
MakeTime(Hour) as H,
Celsius,
Rain_mm,
Sun_Minutes,
Date(MakeDate (Year,Month,Day),'DD.MM.YYYY') as Date

FROM

(biff, embedded labels);

and this is my script, currently returning 1 line for the date which is 01.01.2012....and i am totally stuck and quite new on qlik

I see there is scroll bar .

Either increase height of List box of Scroll it.
