Manager Audit Logs - One folder per table is created.

Manager Audit Log

This log provides the possibility to track changes to tasks and settings in the system in order to see who made the changes and when they were made.

The audit logs are stored in %ProgramData%\QlikTech\ManagementService\AuditLog. One folder per table is created. Each folder contains one file per day with the changes made to the tasks. The logs are tab separated files.

What does one folder per table mean? Is this per QVD or QVW?

I don't know where you got this description (from the internet?) but it talks about the QlikView Repository. By default, the repository is stored in xml files. Each file represents one table. You can also store the repository in an RDBMS where the tables become real.

All changes to every file/table will be audited and logged in a separate directory. Yes, it creates a large number of files'n'folders.

Best,

Peter
