I'm looking to incorporate maps into a Qlik View document that don't require an internet connection. I've seen Google Maps used and they look great - I want to use a static map in the same way. I'm happy with plotting easting and northings on a map but I don't know where I can obtain a map that I can reproduce in Qlik View for free.
Okay, this isn't strictly a Qlik View query but I wondered if anyone who hasn't got access to Google Maps had been able to obtain a static map of a region from anywhere without the need to pay royalties?
