Hi Everyone,
May I know in Qlikview is it possible to retrieve the data from different row? Thanks.
Kindly take a look at this case.
The column New_count is created for retrieving the sum(count) from Category "A" under the same Product_cd independently.
The column Sum_count is created for retrieving the sum(count) from Category "A" and Category "B".
Is it possible if I use set analysis?
Thanks.
Hi,
Not neccessory to use set analysis.
Please find the attached for desired results

Hi,
Thanks for your idea.
Actually the case is a little bit complicated so I prompt to use set analysis.
Please refer to real case as below.
Any other idea?
Hi,
Your requirement is not clear..
what is the temp_product_cd..?
are u looking for only final table or the intermediate table as well...
Please share the sample app and data...
~Sushil
Hi,
I'm sorry. Some mistake in my example.
Please refer to updated one's.
What I want is final result, intermediate table is to illustrate how the data is structured. I use temp_product_cd to filter some data by using option "suppress when value is null". Please view it as a temp name as the name itself is not meaningful.
Sorry that I don't know how to attach file in the forum.
Please try this code as testing data.
LOAD * Inline [ Product_cd,tmp_Product_cd,Category,Sales_amount,Count 1,'',A,1,1 1,'',A,1,2 1,1,B,2,2 ];
Thanks a lot~
Please find the attached and let me know if this what u required.
to attach any document click on "Use advanced editor" in the right top corner....

Hi,
Thanks so much for your kindly help.
If there's only one kind of product, it's OK.
But if there's another product, the expression doesn't work.
Please take a look at this.
I want the Total count of product_cd 1 to be "5" and Total count of product_cd 2 to be "3". But total function sums the amount as a whole.
Thanks.
Hi sushil,
Did you get a solution? I'm still puzzling in this issue.
Hi everyone,
Can somebody has a solution?
Thank you.
