Dear Raja,

I recommended you two books for better understanding of QlikView,

1. QlikView Tutorial

2. QlikView Reference Manual

Or if you are only want to see that how to import tables and other schemas in QlikView, then refer to attached screenshot "Loading Data Into QlikView".

I hope attached screenshot will help you a lot.

you can use different models as per your requirement i.e snow Flake and star

1)snow flake you could link all three fact and link dimension table to them

2) you can concatenate all 3 fact tables and then connect 7 tables to this fact table

3) you could have 3 fact tables as it is create a linked tables between and them and then connect Tables

4) you could combine 3 fact table create a common calender or common keys and then dimensions

hope this helps

QlikView Project Flow:

For dashboard will have one QVD generator & main user facing QVW file

Development:

1. DB Data Load:

          a) install the required DB driver in the local system.(we can convert the tables in to QVD)

          b) load the tables in to QlikView using script.

          c) Data model is the important, based on that we need to load the tables

2. Once the data load was done, we can start the design process

3. Section Access: security who can access the dashboard

Once the design was done, we can publish in the access point using QMC.

Hi, Raja.

I think the answer of Chauhans85 will help you in this situation, but I'll give some common practice.

At first you can see next video : Creating a Data Model - YouTube

Next you have to remember:

  • There Is No One Best Architecture.
  • Don’t kill yourself with technical linktables if you don’t have to !
  • Don’t put everything in a single model. Monolithic model introduces unnecessary complexity. Use document chaining.
  • Architecture Is Entirely Dependent on Requirements (Systems, Skill Sets, Security, Functionality, Flexibility, Time, and above all… Business Requirements!

Venelin
