Just observed that the memory consumption increases dramatically when I use the 'web view' option in qlik desktop [at times it might even consume double the amount i.e. from 65k to around 130k]. A reload operation on my desktop while in web view lead to application hang and had to close the application [probably due to the limited memory I have in my machine]. Multiple attempts lead to the same observation.
On de-selecting the web view and returning to the normal view, I could observe that the memory allocation does not decrease in the same proportion and would come down to around 110K [not sure if we have a leak here].
Wanted to check if this is a known behavior or there are some things that we need to take care of while creating reports in desktop version of Qlik.
The reason I ask is because I did not find a reference to this in the reference material I came across so far [for learning qlik view] and it took a while to figure out why the same document was failing to load.
PS: I am using QlikView version 12 , 64 Bit
Thanks in advance for sharing your inputs !
Please do let me know if any more details are needed.
