Hi All,
I Have a table as follows,
Name | Star | Rating |
---|---|---|
Hary | Gold | 5 |
Travis | Gold | 4 |
Ken | Gold | 7 |
Ryan | Silver | 9 |
Sam | Bronze | 2 |
Now i want to merge the cells only in the Star column alone to look like this,
Is there any way this can be achieved even though the name field primary dimension is different?
Note:
I need the order of columns to remain the same since the Name column should drive the table.
Hi Santosh,
I'm afraid this is not achievable in Qlik.

Any specific reason of not using Pivot table in this scenario?
I have some custom formating which is not possible in Pivot tables. Is this possible in pivot? If so I could be able to evaluate this scenario if you can provide me the solution.
wwhat is the formatting you are looking for? Can you give us an example.
