Missing User bookmarks with changing authentication
Hi ALL,
with moving to a new server we change to in using the AD UserID as login. Before we had an external authentication service (OneLogin) in use to handle "SingleSignOn" with the user Email address as login. Problem is now all the user bookmarks are not available for the users anymore. With using Powertools "SharedFileViewer" I can see that the user bookmarks are related to the user Email address.
Now I assume that with using AD UserID as login the QV Server can't assign the bookmarks to the users anymore.
How the users can get back the user Bookmarks and what is the best approach?
The idea now is using Powertool "SharedFileViewer" to export the bookmarks in a XML file and replacing the Email address with the AD UserID (with scripting). Can re-import the bookmarks as user bookmarks after that and will the user get back the bookmarks?
