Modify a table with start and end date into a new one with rows for each date

Hello!

I'm new with Qlikview and would appreciate any advise on how to transform my original table into below described table.

Original table:

NameStart dateEnd date
A2010010120100103
B2010010220100103
A20100107

20100107

New target table
NameDate
A20100101
A20100102
A20100103
A20100107
B20100102
B20100103

I guess this could be done easily with some kind of loop?

Thanks in advance!

Markus

Hi Markus,

I am searching in vain for the transform rules. How is your translating algorithmn working? e.g. how did you get record "A 2010102" ? Into what did you transform your third source-record?

Regards, Roland

Hello Roland!

I think I made a mistake, the table was just created as a quick example..

I found what I was looking for here.
