More values for the same dimension

Just to give you an example, I'd like to make a Pivot Table in which I'd like to show an expression (let's consider: the number of sales) both for today and for the month-to-day.

Is it possible to select in the dimension "date" two values (today and month-to-day) that override each other?

Do you know if and how would it be possible to do that?

Thanks in advance

That is likely going to be a case for Set Analysis, the following Design Blog post should get you on the right track:
