Moving from Oracle to Sql Server Database

Hello everyone,

I wanted to know what are the things that needs attention from QlikView point of view when changing the database.

Currently, we are using Oracle and planning to move to Sql Server. QV version 12.10 SR1

All that I can think of is changing the connection string.

Can you please provide your inputs on this?

Look at the sql statement, sometimes the syntax is different

once it is created ,

Raise a access request for SQL server DB.

depends on DB team advice Ask them install sql server client edition in your machine.

Try to create ODBC connection for new data base Sql server as per your credentials

and check the check box for Preceding load option.

and work as it is before you did with Oracle.

Only ODBC connection you need to change in Include file/Connections.
