Multi Colour Individual Bars in a Bar Chart

Hi everyone,

I have a question around bar charts and colour displays.

I have a requirement in a bar chart to set the colour of the bar chart values over a range to a certain colour while others below the range are a different colour.

For example:

I have a bar chart over time. In Jan-11, I have a value of 10 for the bar. I have a reference line in the chart at 7.

I would like the lower part of the Jan bar to be green for values between 0 and 7, while all the parts above the reference line and greater than 7 should be red. I doubt this can actually be done in QlikView, but if there is a way to do it, I would be glad for someone to point me in the right direction.

Solution attached (hopefully).

Uses a calculated Stacked Bar Chart to achieve the effect you're after.

Look at the script and Chart Properties to see how its done.

Nice work around to get it working using the stacked chart. I am still a bit curious to know if it is possible with a normal bar chart.
