Hi there,
I am trying to have multiple OnActivateSheet triggers that are in different fields. I have one that is selecting multiple choice in the same field, but I am trying to do two Select in Field actions for different fields and am having trouble getting both to activate. It only activates the first and then doesn't activate the second.
Example of Selecting Multiple Field Values
This was very helpful in letting me do multiple selections in the same field, but does not mention anything about having multiple of the same triggers for different fields.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Are the two selections you making contradicting each other?
Would you be able to share a sample to look at your issue?
I don't think so because it has some sensitive information, but I'll try to explain it a bit more.
When people activate the sheet, I want two things to happen.
1. Select 'Yes, Primary' and 'Yes, Secondary' from a field called "Is Productivity Stat?". <-- This one i have done and working.
2. Select 'Contract' from a field called "Pay Sum Group".
When I have both actions, it only activates one of the triggers. Or maybe it's activating one and then overriding it with the second trigger. I want both to be selected at the same time.
I don't see why it wouldn't work... but again I don't know what you have... May be someone else have ideas
Yeah, I am not sure. I think it's doing what I mentioned earlier, that it selects the first one and then it's overridden by the second selection.
Should I not have multiple selects like that? Is there a way to do multiple fields in action?
Are the two selections you making contradicting each other?
Hi
The two fields are related ?
May be the value you are selecting in both are not associated and negating each other.
'Yes, Primary' and 'Yes, Secondary' are not related to 'Contract' . Just a guess. You can check by selecting the value in filter manually and see if they are associated.

It is very difficult without a sample.. Any way see if the attached sample will help you.. ( I am using Version 12)
When you click on Sheet1 and back on "Main" tab it will show the following screen shot:
Hi Ryan,
It should work as intended with two different fields you're selecting in field. I agree with non associative value if both of them field is contradicting. Otherwise it should work multiple select in field in single document with different fields and different values.
Yup, you guys are right, they are non associative. I feel so silly....
