My Application Turns into "Not Responding"

Good Day Qviewer's,

I have a problem on my Qlikview Application, when every time i open it after a while it turns on

"Not Responding" State. how can i resolve this issue. The QVW file is 260MB for the maximum compress and im expecting this to become bigger and bigger.

I have a 16GB RAM on my Windows Server 2008 R2 with Xeon E5345 Processor

What Solution can i do with this matter?

Hi,

Did you do a save? If yes, then wait before you click. The not responding will not come. This happens for bigger QVW files, I have experienced.

The RAM size you have seems enough.

try to optimize the application.

dont write expression at chart bring them in script

use distinct with all load statement .

try to merge  table which have one to one relationship to avoid duplicates values.

i mean to find any value use shortest path .
