You will need the same data model in both qvw's for the object to populate the same data.

Hi Rao.

Kunche is right, but if you want to copy a container along with couple of objects it will not happen.

To copy a container along with the objects you have to remove the objects from container and then copy those objects and the container as well by CTRL+C and CTRL+V.

The data model has to be same.

Hi rao

you will have to write the "macros" to copy variable from one application and to write into another application

What type of variable are you referring to?  Wouldn't it be much easier to store the variables in the script vs a macro?

yah it is easier to store variables in the script but here the case is different he wants to copy all the variables at one time into the other Application. if the there are only few variables then "copy + paste" is better option than writing macro and if there hundreds of variables then you cant copy and paste every single variable.

hi, simple Copy & paste do the job.

CTRL+A then CTRL+C then go to your other qvq and then CTRL+ V and you can edit it

You can open both the applications on different QV Desktop instances. And then Copy the object and paste it to the other application.

Right click on object, and you will find Copy and Paste controls.

Thanks,
