Naming a label field in a table box

Hi,

in QV 10 I have added a table box and specified some fields from my data source.

I want to change the default name for each label field (it is proposed the field name) and I want f.e. to get a part of the field name. I have tried to use the LEFT statement in the expression but I have no results.

A help for me, please? Many thanks
