Need QlikView v5 or v6!

Have installed a QlikView v10 server at a customer.

They have an ancient QlikView v4 application that they want to use on this server.

Problem is it can't be opened because it is too old!

Got the oldest available QlikView (7.52) in the downloads but that could not open it either (only v5 and later).

Thus i need an old installation for QlikView 5 or 6 in order to migrate application to later versions.

Got a copy of QlikView v6 from support, that solved the issue.

Anders,

Wow, I started with the company at version 6, so this has to be a really old customer.  There are a couple of ways to try to workaround this, the best would be if you do have a machine that still has v4, just try to copy/paste the script into a text file and/or export the script file, but I don't know if that feature existed in v4.  The layout is the more tricky part, and the only thing of which I can think of is to try to just copy the v10 QV.exe file to the same machine and see if you can launch both the v10 instance and the v4, so you can copy/paste from app to app.  The other thing you can do is drop all the data in the app and send it to us in support via support@qlik.com, and we can see if we can possibly get things extracted for you, but I cannot promise anything.
