Hi guys, need some advise.
1) i have created data model - Link table with fact n dimension.
2) found out that 2 fields - Area and Country in the 2 facts tabble ,HAVE to be group to a common field name. for exmaple:
Fact 1 table - Zone_A_Area
Fact 2 table - A_Area
Both have a same list of area data, and i plan to create it as a common dimension, to allow user to select the Area from both of this field(Zone_A_Area & A_Area).
3) I try to use preceding load method, but i got synthetic table - LinkKey + Common_Area. Exmaple of my precedeing load:
Fact 1 table:
load*,
Zone_A_Area as Common_Area;
load
field 1 & field 2 & field 3 as linkkey,
blablablablablabala;
Fact 2 table
load*,
A_Area as Common_Area;
load
field 1 & field 2 & field 3 as linkkey,
blablablablablabala;
I really dunno what to do. I just wanna change Zone_A_Area & the A_Area as a common name dimension.
