Need access to create task for reload and distribution

If we need to give access to only create a task for reload and distribution on publisher level, and do not want users to add qvw files to folder locations on server. How can it be done?. where can we add users to give them access to create tasks at publisher level?

Hi

You need to add that particular to administrator group and qliview administrator group.

ask him to use below url for configuring tasks from any other machince connected to domain except QlikView server

"http://<ServerNAme/IP>:4780/qmc/default.htm"

Does it mean to add users in User administrators group inside setup tab of Publisher that is QMC? Can you please elaborate. Its not very clear

Hi

You need to go to your server and add a user to QlikView administrator group and Local administrator group.

Once done use the above url from any other machine connected to your domain except qlikview server.
