Need help on Doc CAL....about how to get the license back to same userID...???


Hi Experts ,

yesterday while looking into the QMC I try to follow my senior and did some changes unexpectedly  , am unable to open some applications with my user ID , so I thought of leasing license and I went to QMC - - system - - license - - assigned cals - -clicked on the x mark...and then I try to open the application using open in server option...

but my bad its not working and am scaring that did I commit any mistake here by deleting that , and really in confusion on how to get back the license back.

Now when am trying to open the application in access point it is popping that user don't have CAL please contact admin.

did I deleted that CAL...? How to get back it ...?

Please help me on this , I have do it immediately...

In QMC > System > Licenses > Assigned CALs you should see Restore button near the User.

Hi,

Click on 'Manage Users' and search in Search for Users and Groups for your removed CALs(if any) and add it back->OK n -> Apply. Now check your application/s.

In order to obtain a development license from the server by opening an application from the server, you must activate the QMC two flags in


System-> Licenses-> QlikView Server-> General


and enable the flag "Allow licennse lease" and "Allow dynamic CAL assignment"

Then open an application from the server, so you will receive a license.

Remember to remove the flag after you reset license
