Need help understanding the selection criteria when a drill down group is used in a straight table.

Hi,

I have a straight table with drill down group as a dimension; it displays top 5 rows and rest all will be bucketed as ALL OTHERS as shown below.

When I click on 1st level of drill down group eg: LIBOR, a green selection dot is NOT appeared in the column header, next to Name.

When I click on 2ndlevel of drill down group eg: Redacted Short Case name for..., a green selection dot is appeared in the column header, next to Name.

Also when I click on ALL OTHERS, a green selection dot is appeared in the column header, next to Name.

Why the green dot is being appeared only when certain selections are made?

Can someone please help me understand this behavior?
