Historically, Qlik have focused on their strengths of data analysis and business discovery. There has been less interest in the actual reporting side of QlikView. I think this is where a number of products including NPrinting have seen a area to develop.
NPrinting can provide you with automated scheduled reports in a number of formats that users may be more familiar with - excel, word, powerpoint etc . It can also filter the data prior to sending reports to email accounts, drives or Google docs and this it where it compliments the strengths of QlikView with improved report building functionality.
