New Dashboard for Monitoring tasks in QMC

     Hi All,

    I have the QV setup which have around 30 applications are running on a daily basis through QMC.

    Have the following chain process like Reload(Parent task)-----------Child task1----child task2 etc.

   I want to create the separate dashboard to the Management to see the entire tasks monitoring in qlikview.

  Need your help to achieve the same.

It is nice to “meet” you. I have read a lot of your QlikView posts across the internet, and I did manage to find the QVPR Analyzer prior to receiving your email. It is a great tool for providing visibility to tasks in the QMC. Thank you for publishing it.

I was looking at it this morning, and I was wondering if there is an indication anywhere in the data of whether or not a scheduled task completed successfully or not.

The QVPR Analysis tool does not include current task status. You could easily add the data by loading the files in

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\TaskResults

Have you looked at Governance Dashboard and Ops Monitor as well?

I am new to this and still exploring EVERYTHING!

There is certainly no substitute for experience! Just knowing the location of the file: C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\TaskResults made everything so simple.
