No Data to Display

When make selections for a chart that has no data the Chart shows a message "No data to display". Is there a way to change this default message? I'd like to have it say something line "Make another selection for X and Y" and point the user to the selections that need to change.

Thanks.

Chart Properties -> General -> Error Messages -> Default (override for all error messages) -> Custom Message -> Make another selection for X and Y.

It looks like the weakness here is that you can't specifically override the "no data to display" message, and instead have to override everything except a few messages listed. It'll probably work fine for your case, though.

In the chart dialog box on the General Tab you will find the 'Error Message...' button. You can use that override what Error message you are presented.

Indicator Properties -> General -> Error Messages -> Default (override for all error messages) -> Custom Message -> N/A ----> I can't get that information on my indicator. There is another optin or something like that? Pls help.

For example If I divided by 0 = "No data to display" I want to appear another name like N/A. Is it Possible?

Tried the default (override all error messages) but doesn't work, still getting "No data to display". Probably it's not considered an error.

Hi,

I just had this issue too,

It seems that another step still missing..

You need to go to Chart Properties -> General -> Calculation Condition

Enter the formula to "catch" your desired error.

Now you can go to "Error Messages" and under "Calculation Condition unfulfilled" you can enter your syntax.

Hope it helps!

Netanel.
