No Microsoft Access selection for OLE DB connection

I am trying trying to use an Access Database as a source for QlikView. When I choose OLE DB and hit "Connect" my list of "Providers" doesn't include a Microsoft Access connection. I know in the past I have seen this choice on other QlikView servers.

Can anyone let me know what needs to be done to make this selection available?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Open Control Panel

Administrative Tools

Data Source (ODBC)

User DSN

If there is no MS Access Database in User Data Sorce... try to Add by clicking on ADD BUTTON..

Hope this helps..

UPDATE :

To add MS Access Database ....

Go to System DSN tab

Add

Now Create New Data Source will open

Select Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)

Finish..

Now try to connect to MS Access Database....

Maybe clicking "Force 32 bit" may force your Access Driver appear

I usually found 32 bit (not 64) Access connectivity (also in 64 bit machine)

If you like oledb try (script editor)

If you like odbc you can check for Access driver in Qlik script editor

menu --> tools --> odbc administrator 32 bit --> driver tab

than follow Manish post
