No aggregation on higher level

Hello all,

I have the next problem;

I have two products X and Y for those two products I have a target 50 and 75. Those products role up to a Brand on this brand I have a Target 100.

So the roll-up is not an aggregation of the lower levels but a pre set value. How do I solve this in QV.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Have you considered a if-then-else statement using the dimensionality() function? Check Help file for Dimensionality. Quick synopsis, if I have a parent-child relationship such as Year & Month that I show on a pivot table, Year is dimensionality(1) and Month is dimensionality(2).

As Luca states, it would be good to get a sample app with data to work on.

For example;

I have the following data

Now I wan't to compare above figures in a pivot table, with targets, but the targets are not all on base level.

So I want if I only select Manufacturer A the target of 80. When I go deeper voor Manufaturer A and Brand 1 40, etc. Is this possible in QV?

You also see that base level figures do not roll up to top level.
