Hi All,

Can Qlikview use Noetix Views to generate reports?

Thanks

Noetix Views http://www.noetix.com/ provide a BI-oriented interface to the data behind Oracle Financials. Querying the raw tables can be arduous and complex, and the Views are intended to make this a lot easier. From experience, their performance can be very poor, so it is quite common for the Oracle DBA to materialise these views (snapshot) on a schedule. The Materialised Views are then somewhat similar to a Data Mart and can have Indexes added where desired to help query performance.

As far as QlikView is concerned, the Noetix Views are simply tables in Oracle that we can retrieve data from, and then to generate our dashboards, analsyses, and reports. Data latency is directly related to the schedule of the Oracle snapshots and the frequency of the QlikView Reload tasks.

I'm interested to learn of other implementations of QlikView and Noetix together too!
