Not able to migrate to SQL repository

Hi

I am trying to migrate my Publisher to SQL server repository, but I dont get the server on which SQL database is configured listed in QV 9 out of 10 times.

Even if I get the name of server listed in QV it does not migrate the XML repository to SQL server. I get the below error message :Selected database is not a Publisher database.

Can some please let me know the configuration settings that has been done from SQL server/QV to migrate to SQL repository

Hi

I have a licensed version of QV and QV publisher. I am running my SQL server 2005.

The ODBC connection to the SQL server 2005 tests succesfully. But QV does not recognise it
