Not able to select anything

Hi,

I have a qlikview dashboard with filters. Suddenly all the filters stopped working. I also have linked objects on my dashboard. I checked the "read only" property of the sheet is unchecked. What could be the reason of not being able to select the filters.

Thanks,

S

Hi Sheetal,

If they are gray then they are not related. Did you do limited load?

Or something to do with the Schema.

thanks,

Rajesh Vaswani

Hi,

If possible attach that file, it would be easier to check and find the solution.

Press Ctrl +Alt+ S to access sheet properties. Go to security tab. Make sure you unchecked read only there.

after unchecking?. Did you check the apply to all sheets?

Is it happening to only one sheet or for all the sheet?

Is it happening for listbox only?

Also, try unchecking Admin Override Security under Security tab in Document properties.

Try to re-create the document by using following procedure,

Create a folder next to the document, with the same name only without ".qvw" and with added "-prj" - for example; for "Films.qvw", then name the folder "Films-prj". The next time you save the qvw document, the definition of the file with show up in xml files here. Changing the document and saving will update the xml references.

To re-create a document from the prj references, just create a blank document (Ctrl+N in QlikView), save it with the same name as the document, close it and re-open it in QlikView, and the document will be created after the definition.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

Was there any field in Lock State before you reloaded the application? I have seen similar kind of issue that if we reload the application which has a locked field then after the reload it shows that no field is locked but actually it is. Try Unlocking all the fields and then do the selections.
