Now() not in real time

When I use the =now() fiction in a text object it displays the second I applied the change and it wont update to the most current "now" unless I click on the now() text object. 

Any suggestions to fix this would be great.  I'm assuming it has something to do with the document properties? 

Please help me solve this problem.

My guess is that you are using QV12. This is a problem related to QV12, it would work fine in QV11.2 (Bug in QV12? Now() function is not continuously updating)
