Hi Avinash,

In nprinting we scheduled reports and after that we need start the scheduler.

My question is why we can not close application after scheduling, if i close application then my reports not will not generate.

and second thing after scheduling report we do any work on same connection because after  scheduling all function disable in nprinting.

Thanks

OK , As per my understanding  your scheduling using the Desktop client!! if that is the case it won't allow you to make changes ..In that case try like when you have schedule through the NPrinting client then add one more tab i.e open the client again and you should have two windows one running with the scheduler and one more new window where you will be able to work on the changes

If I understand correctly, when the service runs, it opens up the QlikView application and you would like the application closed after NPrinting is finsihed.

If this is the correct assumption, you will need to check the 'Close Connection when task ends' option in the task (right hand side below description field)

Are you running your schedule from the NPrinting client? If so, there's no way to run a schedule in the background. You need the NPrinting server to be able to do this.

if i understand you correctly , you are willing to do a automatic refresh of Nprinting after a QVW Refresh right ?

This can be done thorugh External Request (using Xml ) That can be done though Nprinting server

Alternatively , am not sure but you can try following

make an batch file which contain following tasks in single batch file

1.QVW file reload

2.Nprinting job (with task name)
